Alison Lamagna Joins United Ways of Vermont
It’s been just a few weeks since I stepped into the role of Executive Director here at United Ways of Vermont, and already I’m in awe of the incredible work being done every single day by this team. I’ve quickly learned that our 211 Information and Referral Program is not just a phone number nor a website – it's a lifeline. Our Help Me Grow service provides support and peace of mind to families of Vermont’s youngest children, ensuring access to the resources they need for healthy development and wellbeing. From connecting families with essential services to answering the call during some of life’s toughest moments, United Ways of Vermont plays a critical role in the fabric of this state. Our knowledgeable, compassionate teams are deeply dedicated, continually researching and updating resources, answering every call without judgment, and steadfast in their mission to get Vermonters the help they need, when they need it most.
I’m honored to join United Ways of Vermont at a time of momentum and possibility. I look forward to bringing fresh energy and ideas to this next chapter—and I’m deeply grateful for your continued support.
